Honestly, i'd say the reason Lost is getting moved back an hour is because absolutely nothing has managed to pull in decent ratings after it; every show they've aired after Lost has tanked something fierce. The fact that many Lost fans immediately jump on to the internet after an episode ends probably has something to do with that. ABC, i think, realizes this and has just given up on trying to keep Lost's audience in front of their TVs afterward.

I am in with those who believe ABC is concearned that Idol will kill Lost. I am seriously considering dropping Lost because it is going nowhere. From articles and postings around here I know others are too. If something more popular (Like AI) comes along I can see large numbers leaving Lost.

Would you prefer things like them getting captured by the Others, seeing who the Others are and what their life was prior to the crash, having a major character die, having Kate choose between Jack and Sawyer and then possibly killing another character?Brown Jenkin said:

I couldn't have said it any better myself.
I've seen the complaint that "nothing happens" or the plot is "going nowhere" posted a lot. I wonder if those people who make such complaints really mean to say that they don't like rich character development and intricate story arcs that develop slowly over several episodes. Certainly it's a fair opinion; I agree it's not everyone's cup of tea. But if that is the case why do they watch the show to begin with? What else were they expecting from the show? After all, it's no secret that it's a serial drama with plots driven by character interactions that develop slowly over several episodes.
