Looks like the starter set is going down to 12 figures from 16, unfortunately. But the curious part will be how the lineup is going to change.

I've got to be VERY careful here, because if I don't, It'll be magic the gathering for me all over again - only MUCH more expensive.

Apparently, even though we're getting less minis in the starter, there will be a Commander in EVERY starter. Not bad, really.

Actually, I had 2 commanders in my first starter pack (Cleric of Corellon Larethian and Cleric of Yondalla). In the two Dragoneye Packs I bought at the same time, I had one Urthok the Vicious and one Eye of Gruumsh (so I had one commander of each faction from the start.) I get more CE minis in boosters than of any one other faction, but *none* of them were commanders...)

I didn't get a Commander for a good long time with Harbinger...heh, I have my cards stacked up by faction, and CE is double the size of each of the others. Its just insane how many CE there are(though I have managed to get a lot of Commanders for each faction by now)

The miniature line tends towards Chaotic Evil - GoL probably being the most extreme example.

With regard to commanders, Lawful Good and Lawful Evil generally have the best.

Owing to ebay purchases (and other), I have nearly as many CG as CE, but CE is favoured. On the other hand, I have the least commanders in CE - 2 Tiefling Camptains, 1 Drow Sgt, 1 Drow Wiz, 1 Eye of Gruumsh - and 3 of them were bought on ebay... for the other factions, I have plenty of commanders, so the ratio commanders/followers in CE is really low (which is probably intended, as they have also a lot of difficult creatures)
