I voted constitution.

Yes, hitpoints are important. But then, when you're depending on hitpoints, that means all other defenses have been bypassed! And constitution is, apart from a few skills, not really necessary for anything else.

Cha would be next option though....

Cha is potentially very potent, but it is surely the easiest to figure out how to do without.

Why is Charisma the first score people think of 'dump-wise'? The score represents your physical as well as your natural ability to lead. Without leaders, any world wou ld be in chaos, there would be no structure, no laws, and people would wantonly do whatever they wanted whenever they wanted. I think such a poll is skewered, each ability score surves a vital purpose.

If I had to choose one, it'd be Dex.

'Cause it's D&D. Same as it ever was (in some regards).

Some are more equal than others, in D&D, RAW, with all the default assumptions etc. intact.

What I was referring to is civilization as we know it. Without leadership, the can be no national figures, without national figures there can be no nations, without nations, each city would be its own barony with some corrupt despot in power, if any sort of power at all.

Charisma is often my MO for roleplaying, and usually in my characters' top three stats. But it's still the weakest stat. I wish Will saves were keyed to Cha.

I went with Cha even though in 3.5 it is a much more useful attribute than in some earlier editions.

I predict Dexterity will win this competition. As for the weakest? Charisma. Hands down.
