Abot Druids and undead...

Can a Druid use the Regenerate Spells from MotW to inflict damage on undead? I think it'd make them a little bit better against undead, even tho they ahve good Will saves.

I would allow it, but why would you want to? It only cures 1d8 + caster level of damage up to 20, and it's 7th level. On top of that, it would be pretty useless in combat since it take 3 full rounds to cast.

He's talking about the ones from MOTW that grant fast healing for a short time. I would allow it, considering that it has the healing descriptor.

Oops. My bad. In this case I would have to agree with you then.

I wouldn't say so. First, it doesn't state that they harm undead (but that doesn't mean to much).

But secondly, they're more the druidic approach: they don't really heal, they grant fast healing. It doesn't use positive energy, but gives you an ability: fast healing (a little like buff spells, like bull's strength or spider climbing).

There's already a save for half, another reason I think you can assume it works on undead.

I'd say no, considering that many undead have fast healing naturally (and are healed, not harmed, by it).

I would say no because it is not channeling of positive energy like Cure XXX or Heal. Read the spell description of Cure Light Wounds and Heal in the PHB. It explicit states that positive energy is channeled and since undead are damaged by positive energy it harms them.
(pfff, since fire is hot it burns ... brrrr, my logical deductions are getting worse and worse )

Now the regeneration spells grant a new feature (self repair) for the body, it is not a channeling of positive energy.
Just my 2cents.
