About Epic missile deflection ???

I have a question, in the ELH there is a feat "Epic Missile Deflection" (i don't have the book around here, then perhaps it's the wrong name), that say people can deflect spells (like rays, or any spell which require a range touch attack).

Does it affect disintegrate ? Because i can't imagine a character touching a disintegrate ray to deflect it...

It's called Epic Deflection.

A casual read of both the feat and the spell's description leads me to believe it would work.
