Our intentions at Sovereign Press are to pursue this kind of organized gaming, even if we have to do so outside the RPGA organization, both for Sovereign Stone and Dragonlance. I do plan to first speak with the RPGA staff to find out if something might be worked out. If not, we have a backup plan!

As an aside, the RPGA is an organization near and dear to my heart. I have been a member now for roughly 12 years, and served as a club President for two years. In addition, Jean Rabe (former Network Coordinator) is a friend who also writes for both Sovereign Stone and Dragonlance. I think it's a fantastic organization and everyone should try and play both "Classic" and "Campaign"-style events.
