I was on a trip two years ago for work (taking some students to an honor band weekend in Savannah, GA) and was awakened by a skittering sound (yes, a skittering sound... if you have ever heard one, you understand). I turned on the light, but saw nothing, so I turned it off and then saw movement out of the corner of my eye. Light get turned back on, but nothing. Light goes out and I lay down and roll onto my left side to be greeted by a mouse on my pillow next to my head. This was in a nice hotel suite that my school district paid good money for. I chased him all over the room trying to trap him in the ice bucket, but he ran into the A/C unit, which I plugged with plastic bags and went back to sleep... eventually.
