Not always, but if the "combat advantage" is a static number, say +4 to hit, that is a lot easier for the DM to automatically apply than to ask the player who might go through: "10, plus my buffed Dex, plus my Ring of Protection, plus the Dodge bonus..."Irda Ranger said:Hmmm.
