PvPonline Archive New D&D Podcast – Live Streaming, Saturday

Those that can’t attend PAX but still want to see the adventures of Acquisitions Inc. You will be able to watch our D&D panel LIVE at Wizard’s of the Coast’s website. Tune in Aug 27th from 3:30pm till 5:30pm PT (we will still be providing an edited version of the panel to watch shortly after PAX.) The panel will be broadcast live from the Paramount Theatre in downtown Seattle. There will be roleplaying. There will be pagentry. There will be no guarantee of survivors.

i cant wait, the acquisitions inc podcasts are actually what got me interested in 4e, i had been a holdout up until i heard how much fun they had with it.

Remember PAX 2010?
Will wore a t-shirt that says Aoefel lives with a tabard cape type thing worn over it and every now and again he would flip the tabard over to remind people.... That wasnt so much the funny part as in one of the scenes his tabard was partially blocking the text and it instead showed only

I love one thing and I never noticed it before when I posted it

It says "JIM DARK MAGIC I" so either
a) Thats his dad, hes Jim jr and it is a quest involving his dad
b) He has a son, hes Jim snr and hes gonna get snuffled

Who knows eh?
All I know is that at 23:30 GMT I will be up watching that even though I should be sleeping because I have a wedding the next day!!!!

It could be the Northern or Scuttle-navyan thing, where they switch their given names each generation:

Holger begets Halvor, who grows up and begets the next Holger, who grows up and begets the next Halvor, etc.
Equally, Erik begets Egil, who grows up and begets the next Erik, etc.

In that pattern, James I begets Charles, who grows up and begets James II, so James I would be the Grandfather of James II ("Jim").

I remember --- He is of the New Hampshire Dark Magics...
I think it was when they ran the Hammerfast Podcast and came up with the characters in their first adventure.
