I appreciate you clearing up your stance, popcorn init is a good compromise if a group is having trouble with raw DH initiative playing online.
In my online game, we've all come from DnD and in our session zero combat trial, we, as players, literally just took turns, like there was an invisible initiative tracker
We're getting more used to just going with the narrative. Last session, one PC went three times in a row, just because that's what made the most sense. I really like that we can do that.

When a PC succeeds with Hope, I tend to ask if they want to follow-up or pass the spotlight. Once in a while they follow the fiction and take a second action, but most of the time they've handed it over to somebody else.

So has Jerry or Mike confirmed this since pax west was D&D like the 15 plus year (4e and into 5e) for Aqc Inc. and that number of years, who wouldn’t want to try something new? I’ve done it numerous times in my rpg playing days. D&D, merps, D&D, GURPS, D&D, rifts,D&D, PF D&D…etc. For me it’s the banter and such is why I watch aqc Inc so I’ll way\tch if they switch for a season to give daggerheart a try. I may not know what is going on character ability or rules wise but I’m sure it will be entertaining.
