Is there away around not having to put a "Relic of Vecna" on your body? or is there no way around it? :\

I was under the impression that it was harder on the confrontation scene if you did use a relic of vecna. But I could be wrong.

There wasn't supposed to be, but run the game how you like.

SPOILER ALERT....

It served two things. It made Vecna have a blindspot in chapter 3. He couldn't divine the locations of his relics. Plus it gives them some power to stand up to him in the last fight.

It also gives you the DM a great opportunity to give your player hell by inflicting Ravenloft on them should they go overboard with evil powers.

I'm running it right now as a 3.0/3.5 conversion story with a few of my own twists at the end.

Since there are new relic rules in the Complete Divine, as soon as the lady of Pain reorganizes the Multiverse, all of those relics will change to match the 3.5 rules, If you don't have the Pre-reqs, they don't work. (That's going to such for the one with his heart.)

Then Vecna will have people come looking for the parts. They will not harm the PCs any anyway, but they will feel free to ham anyone they come in contact with.

I have other plans but thats for a nother time.

hey this is my 1000's post.

Thanks Herald... hey can you email me I have some more questions to ask you but dont want to add any more spoilers :)

There are several Exalted Characters and one with the VoP and I feel this section may screw the characters up so much that they may be too weak in Power level to complete the rest of the adventure.

thanks ;)
