AD&D Community episode is pretty rad!

I have to say they really packed those 20 minutes with a lotta of gaming goodness. It was kinda rad that it went right into the stereotypes of gamers and right on through to some well endowed roleplaying. And the DM was great. Hilarious.

Yeah its genius. Just the right mix of in-jokes and old fashioned good sitcom writing.

What I like best about it is that it subtly makes two important points about d&d:

1.) D&D might seem nerdy at first, but if you give it a chance it is fun no matter who you are--a cool ladies man, a jock, a christian housewife, a liberal rebel, or a complete dick.

2.) Not every D&D player conforms to the stereotype of the lonely nerd. But some do. And for those people, it can be a really a positive thing in dark times.

Yeah, I thought so to. It was a pretty sophisticated take. D&D is rad. Its also pretty strange.

If only they could do a weekly show like that with that calibre of acting and writing.
