Adamant Entertainment and Evil Hat Productions are announcing a licensing agreement involving the two companies' pulp RPG products, THRILLING TALES and SPIRIT OF THE CENTURY.

This June, Adamant Entertainment will be releasing the THRILLING TALES ADVENTURE OMNIBUS, a print and pdf collection of eight previously-released d20 pulp adventures. The ADVENTURE OMNIBUS, which will be available in print as well as PDF, will feature, via license with Evil Hat, the adventures newly re-statted for SPIRIT OF THE CENTURY, as well as the original d20 rules.

"THRILLING TALES is the best d20 pulp game on the market, and SPIRIT OF THE CENTURY is the best non-d20 pulp game on the market," says Gareth-Michael Skarka of Adamant Entertainment. "With the games 'joining forces' via the Adventure Omnibus, we've got pulp gamers covered, no matter what rules system they prefer."

"Evil Hat is, well, thrilled to join forces with Adamant," says Fred Hicks of Evil Hat Productions. "We believe that pulp games work best with their powers combined. By putting SPIRIT OF THE CENTURY together with THRILLING TALES in the Adventure Omnibus, both games will get exactly what they need to hit the ground running. Gorilla Khan's monkey minions won't stand a chance!"

The book will contain the following adventures, now dual-statted for SOTC and d20: Dragon Island, Lost Temple of the Incan Blood Good, Rocket Raiders, Spears of the Tisangani, The Mind Murders, The Mummy's Revenge, The Steel Legion, and Zeppelin Adventures. In addition, it will also feature the brief encounters released in Suddenly....Encounters. Further information on these titles can be found via the products link on Adamant Entertainment's website.

So when will we be seeing the remaining Pulp Heroes adventures converted over like Spears of the Tisangani was? New adventures for d20 Thrilling Tales would be truly awesome. :)

I'd welcome new Thrilling Tales too. Dual-statting is worse than no stats at all but I like that Adamant and Evil Hat are joining forces.

Dual-statting makes the product look like left-overs and that there is no one in charge to make a bold decision.

I have absolutely no problem with dual statting in products. After being forced to listen to Roll & Keep 7th Sea and BRP Call of Cthulhu fans whine incessantly just for the sake of whining (and getting in a good d20 bashing to boot) when AEG and Chaosium published dual d20 stats in their products, I refuse to do the same thing to Spirit of the Century fans.

Look at it this way: establishing a partnership with Evil Hat and SotC means that whatever pulp adventures are done from now on have just doubled their potential market, which makes it even more attractive to either company to keep producing more products for their lines. So, if you want to see more product, support the stuff currently out and spread the word about the partnership so that more customers will come.

Sounds good, Walt! What's this one about?

And while I have your ear, what's up next for Imperial Age?

Thanks again. :)

It's an adventure being released in five parts. There's plenty of two-fisted action, and it revolves around a political campaign.

I posted an update a couple days ago in my Developers Notes in the Adamant forums (wow, there's a run-on sentence!). In short, the Alienist and the GM's Guide are up next (I'm not sure which will hit the virtual stands first).
