You might find this interesting... It's a herbology guide some guy obviously spent a lot of time on. It was originally designed for the 2E herbology proficiency, but not much work is needed to adapt it for 3E.
It has information on various herbs, their addictions (if they have any), and etc.
I know a bit about herbology, and I've found a few flaws with the descriptions of some of the "real world" herbs listed there. For example, there is one herb, Thornapple, which is a highly-toxic hallucinogen with variant amounts of the active ingrediants in the plant. It's extremely deadly, and this isn't even mentioned in the guide. In fact, the things it claims to do aren't right at all in the "real world" sense.
However, it suits the purposes of a fantasy campaign as long as one doesn't decide to use this guide as lore on real world herbs. You'll quickly find yourself dead, and if you use it, i advise you tell your players this beforehand. Some people are stupid, and disclaimers become inevidable.
