First Post
After repeated requests for more room in the first annual Gen Con Dungeon Crawl Classics Open Tournament, Goodman Games has arranged for additional slots in the tournament. Now up to 36 players will be able to pit themselves against the Crypt of the Devil-Lich!

Registration for the tournament is conducted via the general Gen Con Indy event registration, which opens on May 7, 2004. The revised time slots are as follows:

Round One: There are now SIX time slots with room for SIX players each. All round one games are Friday, with two slots at 8:00 AM, two slots at noon, and two slots at 4:00 PM.

Round Two: The top four teams from round one will move on to round two. There are now four round two slots, all on Saturday. Two are at 8:00 AM and two are at 12:00 PM.

Round Three: The two top teams will move on to round three. The winning team will be decided by whichever party survives longest in the Crypt of the Devil-Lich -- or, in the event all parties are killed, by points accumulated prior to death. The final round sessions will both be held at 4:00 PM on Saturday.

Dungeon Crawl Classics adventures are among the most popular independent d20 modules on the market. Their back-to-basics style, retro art, blue maps inside the covers, and focus on pure, unadulterated dungeon-crawling have won legions of fans. Six volumes are currently available, with as many more announced or scheduled through the end of the year.
