Admin: I'm Not Being Recognized as a Community Supporter

Help!

For some reason I'm not being recognized as a Community Supporter. I should be paid through late 2006.

I'm getting the "Please become a community supporter" info at the top of the screen and I no longer have access to the search feature.

What's up?

Just for grins, I tried to send a PM also. I cannot. Either DaveMage has PM turned off, or the system doesn't recognize that he can receive them.

Davemage, I think I see the problem; Our subscription system has two entries for you - one that ran out in March 16th 2005, and one that will run out in November of 2006. I think it's reading your first Comm. Supporter account and not your renewal! I'll double-check with Morrus to be sure that I'm reading what I'm seeing correctly, and we'll get you straight as soon as he gets back to me. Sorry for the inconvenience!

Dave, I've temp-fixed your problem - not "temporary" as in "this wears off soon" - it wears off in November of 2006 - but temporary as in, I may need to get back with you tomorrow or next day on fixing it permanently. Because of the nature of our subscrip system, you've got two entries, and I'd like to get it back to one, so I'll get back with you via e-mail when I get a chance to look at it in more detail.

Just post back here if you don't find yourself a community supporter - as of right now, you should be fully restored in privileges.

i'm sure i do. i bought at different times. under different special offers. and so on. like the Xmas special.

It's an interesting thought, because the only one I was specifically looking for was Davemage. However, if you bought different plans (say, you first bought 1-year, then before it ran out you bought 2-year), then it might happen. If you buy the same plan each time, it just sets the proper date on that plan.

Anyway, I'll get with you later about straightening it out.
