"Your evil will end today, Oni." With a silent prayer Raiyek bathes his sword in golden light again and makes an overhanded slice at the monster, but the strike isn't fast enough and the Oni manages to dodge.

Free of the ogre's blood, Rurdev wills his mount toward the final oni, which thus far has evaded his allies strikes. The horse strikes out at the creature,
but it rolls away onto it's stomach. The shifter then strikes out, with his axes, the first severing it's spine at the small of it's back, the second taking off it's head.

"Everybody okay?" The shifter says as the last bit of vigor from his heritage leaves him. "W-Where'd the W-Warden go?"

[sblock=ooc]Yup its dead.[/sblock]

Rurdev turns to see the Warden on his mount. He had turned the beast to come towards but stopped starring north, with a clear look of concern. Others stop and turn as well and you soon hear the voices of amplified chanting. A bright light streaks into the sky just over the next hill and though the light is bright thea area around begins to grow dark. Raiyek, moves as if to lead the charge, feeling a chill of evil in the air but the Warden shouts out a clear, "No!"

Suddenly an images raises up over the horizon, as if growing. It at first seems a ball of dark red, but soon you realize that you see only large muscular shoulders and an arm. It turns toward you as it grows, revealing a black, ape like face, riddled with scars and presenting two large teeth.

"Run." The Warden says quietly at first, but soon screams for all his worth. "RUN! Quickly to the Academy!" He turns his horse around. The beastly demon is already fifteen feet in height and starting to move toward you.

Huge creature, very evil, and it clearly sees you.

You have three choices:

1. Run, skill challenge.
2. Stand your ground, against the Warden's advice.
3. Something else.

[sblock=OOC] Ahhh, dang! I'm posting this assuming Warden is taking off. [/sblock]

Dane's first reaction is to dig in and prepare to trade blows with this creature. Upon seeing the Warden start to gain ground on his horse, Dane's sense of duty to protect his charge overcomes him. The dwarf stows his axe and hops into the front of the wagon grabbing the reins.

Blood n' shale! Git in! We leavin', dis mine tis dry n' bout to fall.

Dane waits for the others to get into the wagon and then takes off after the Warden.

[sblock=OOC]Before deciding to run or not, I need more info! After all, we barely got a scracth, I got ALL my healing ressources and a great daily to neuter a powerful melee solo (Iron to Glass). In fact, this is a weird power that is weak in most situation but outright outrageous in precisely these circumstances. I was beginning to regret taking it when suddenly evil donkey kong shows up...

So I am loath to flee unless I am certain we are outmatched. And by outmatched, I mean, like, it's a solo level 13+

If it's a demon;

Religion:
1d20+10=12

Crap.

Hey, that's what a wizard is for!

-''Georg, quickly, tell me just how bad is this thing. 'Cause I don't run fast and neither does this cart but with Great Forger's on our side, I am loath to flee unless you tell me this thing is thougher than an adult dragon...'' says Hadrak, uncharecteristically grim.
