Advancing Masks of the Living God

First Post
So, I've run into a little problem...

When I picked up Crypt of the Everflame and started playing Pathfinder, I didn't realize that the next two adventures in the series wouldn't be published for months. This isn't too much of a problem, as there's plenty of other adventures to run between modules (Kill Bargle from Dragon, some homebrew overland traveling stuff, and I'm about to introduce the Carnival of Tears), but now I've run into a little snafu.

See, Masks of the Living God is written for 4-5 PCs of 3ed level, and I've got a party of 6 PCs, all soon to be 6th level (we opted for the fast XP track). So, now I'm wondering what additions I can make to this infiltration adventure that'll bring it up to the appropriate CR.

Suggestions? I'm open to 'em!

(I have no idea what I'm going to do when it's time to run City of Golden Death.)

Pick an adventure path. Choose one which suits your tastes best.
You will be set up until 14-15th level.

:confused::erm:

I thin the OP wants to use the adventure, not looking for an alternative one. That said, how intertwined are the adventures? Can you drop MotLG and just use it later (after the current group is re-tired)?

It should be easy enough to add a few levels to the key NPCs and the generic NPC stat blocks.

To do it a bit more simply:

Use the Priest statblock in place of the Acolyte statblock.
Use the Herald statblock in place of the Priest statblock.
Add advanced simple template from the bestiary to the Herald statblock for the Heralds in the adventure.

For Egarthis, you should probably add 3 levels of sorcerer, which grants him
+19 HP, +1 Fort, +1 Ref, +2 Will, +2 on all attacks, more spells (noted below), +1 to his Cha (which increases all his spell DCs by +1), 2 new feats (Power Attack, Empower Spell), +3 to Spellcraft and Stealth.
4th (3/day)—improved invisibility
3rd (6/day)—haste, lightning bolt (deals fire damage, DC 17)
2nd (7/day)—add mirror image
1st (7/day)—add shield
0 (at will)—add prestidigitation, ray of frost

For Krant, add the advanced simple template or maybe a few levels of barbarian.

Other than that.. the only real adjustments that should be made involve the other creatures in the adventure. You can scale most of them up using the simple templates in the bestiary or by doubling the number encountered (or both).

I hope that helps...
