Good save = 2 + HD/2.

OK thanks, now...

Is there a table or something that I'm not finding? Like for good, poor, great etc that I can use? And since it doesn't say anything for Will how do I figure that out?

Any character class table will work.

The "Good" saving throws are those that start at +2 at class level 1. The poor saving throws are those that start at +0 at class level 1.

So, for a rogue (for example), which has Fort +0, Ref +2, and Will +0 at level 1, you can say that the rogue has "Good" Reflex saves (and, by extension, poor Fort and Will saves).

It's in the PH, but I don't think the general table is in the SRD. Instead, you can look at any of the base classes. For example, look under cleric Will for a Good save and Reflex for a Poor save.

Anyone trying to use an Excel table for character Gen, which is what I do - it is nice to merely type in the level and have it autocalculate saves, bab, hp (I use a formula rather than dice), etc ...

Good Save is 2+TRUNC(level/2) - where you would put the cell number containing the level of a class in for where the formula says level.

Poor save is 0+TRUNC(level/3) - same thing....

I realize this isn't a big deal and no new info, just that TRUNC means always round down.
