Zharne spews forth another wave of insects on the kruthik but misses somehow

Gellan explodes in a dizzining display of blade-work, the air around him stirring slightly from his blades passing harmlessly through. Zharne once again spews forth a cloud of buzzing and biting insects, only slightly distracting the Kruthik before him.

The Kruthik in front of Gloom thrashes its clawed forelegs widly around scoring minor wounds on Zharne and Gloom and then lunges forward, its claws glancing off Glooms armor. Quickly it then backs away a step from the duo.

The other remaining Kruthik seems annoyed at Thorns continued prodding and it moves towards him and strikes forth with its claws. It's annoyance seems to worsen as its claws cannot penetrate the shifters defenses.

Gellan slips behind the wounded kruthik and deals it a heavy blow, then a follow-up attack.

DMDanW, I need to know if that killed the kruthik before I can finish my turn.
Edit: Aw, I had this whole thing planned out involving Combat Sprint and an action point to go after the one on the other side of the area too. Ah well.
Action Point, Standard: Attack Kruthik 1 again (Melee Basic, still with flanking). Hits AC 17 for 7 damage. If it's *still* alive, no further actions -- let Thorn have the flank. If it's dead, then take a Move action to walk to G-9.

Martelai continues to be distracted with safety of the boy entrusted to his care, his eyes more behind him then in the combat in front of him. He almost hits Thorn, but instead of apologizing he moves behind Leonard, trying to see the beast they are battling.

"I like your bugs, druid, they can really distract someone." comments young Ogglebottom as he rushes into the swarm. He emerges a moment later, returning behind Gloom, cleaning his eyes of stinging insects.

"I think I'll avoid those in the future."

Martelai grabs his shoulder from behind
"I think you should limit yourself to throwing those daggers and letting your guards take the hits. Your father didn't plan on you running in some bugs den with us and he would have our hides if something happens to you. Enjoy the fighting, but stay safe, we still didn't find your uncle. Think of him and keep your strength up."
