OK I like the thinking outside the box and allow that. It will be no check for Minharath, but a DC 10 Acrobatics check for whoever lowers you down to keep their footing on the steep slippery footing above, and Minharath and whoever lowers him down will take a -5 modifier on their initiative to reflect the longer amount of time that it will take to accomplish the task.
[MENTION=55230]DMDanW[/MENTION], Martelai is ranged attacker, he would actually prefer higher ground. Could he stay up until such time as he decides to come closer to combat? I'd roll it as a move action of course according to climbing mechanics...
Or we don't see anything yet and there is no combat to be done from above?

Just so we don't waste time in case I cannot fight from above: Climb down - Acrobatics(1d20+2=9) add whatever modifiers rope gives and if it's not enough, Martelai flickers (Ethereal Step) and steps down before he falls.
Gloom evaluate the fall when he find himself slipping. He fall heavily on the ground and he lose his breath for a moment, taking time to recover from the fall.
[SBLOCK=OOC]I miss I could roll an Athletic roll, in that case, if DMDawn allow it, I would keep the same roll, but apply my Athletic modifier instead (7+5 = 12) Pretty low, but I think that should be enough.[/SBLOCK]
Velmont: Ya, no problem with making the switch. Gloom lands safely.
So far we have Gloom, Zharne and Gellan safely in the chamber below.
That leaves Thorn, Minharath, Leonard and Martelai* still up above.
*Neurotic, first off I believe it is an athletics check to climb down a rope, not acrobatics, so if you want to swap out the skill modifier you can keep your original roll. Oh, and staying up top would only allow you to see part of the small chamber below, not the larger area it leads into. Secondly, who is tying a rope and how exactly are they going about that? Minharath pulled out a rope and had asked if someone could hold it while he climbed down. No one has done so yet. As well, if you take that option then you too will need to apply the -5 modifier on your initiative roll.
We're in a stone steep slope. Isn't there a place where it could be fastened?
Even if I switch the skills, base roll is still 7 so I fail. To shorten the discussion:
Martelai falls down managing to roll and slide rather then just flop down. Fall damage (1d10=1)
OOC - OK Tomalak, if you want to climb down a rope, then you can act for Thorn (having him hold the rope (acrobatics check not to slip) or alternately tie the rope to a secure location (perception check to find a suitable location), have Minharath and Leonard climb down (athletics DC 5 check) and have Thorn jump down (athletics DC 10 check) and then roll initiative for everyone (with the -5 penalty for taking the time to do the rope thing).
