(Adventure) A Merry Chase *Judge: Uriel

Persephone

OOC: Persephone will have satisfied herself with merely taking his dagger, then.

"If you stayed there, recently, princess, then they would recognize you if you returned. As much as I could use a hot bath, I suggest we give it a pass."

"Perhaps so, but it is doubtfull that news of her abduction has reached this place already. Except for the incident with the halforcs, we have travelled all day. Besides, do we really want to remain unseen?" Zoe replies, thinking about the chances. "We could send one of us ahead, to check and see if there are any rumors going on. If the news did arrive, it arrived very recently and should really be the talk of the day, would it not?"

"In that case, I suggest I'll go. I'll try to sell them some of my spices, and a travelling merchant will not be too much suspected if any rumors have reach the Inn. What do you think of that?"

"Well, if the princess has stayed there before, and then suddenly shows up with us, then even if they haven't heard of the abduction, they'll know something is suspicious. I vote we give it a pass and camp out tonight."

"I agree with camping out tonight. We would be too vulnerable staying in an inn. Yet we might spend some of the evening there, enjoying a good dinner and perhaps some other luxuries we would have to do without for a while. Remember, we want to show our faces occasionally, do we not? Well, either way, we could wait for Rinaldo to make an investigation, and base our decision on that, okay?" Zoe looks at the others, wondering what the princess thinks of the whole deal.

Persephone

"Sounds good to me. I am sorry, Princess. Camping may not be much fun for you, but I hope you can appreciate our situation. We would gladly consider any thoughts you might have."

"I think we have a majority. In that case, I will go. Except if you have some opposition." say Rinaldo looking at the decoy princess.

OOC: If the princess have no objection, continue to read.

"I will leave my horse in the front of the Inn. If you see me get out and put the horse in the stable, it is safe. Anything else mean it is not secure yet."

Rinaldo arrived at the Inn. He leaves his horse attached at the front of the Inn and enters with his bag of spices. As he enters, he starts to looks around to evaluate everyone, and looks for the owner.

OOC: If I have no particular reason that my live is in danger, continue to read.

As he spots the owner, he moves forward him and present himself:

"Hi, my name is Flavien Stilldell. I am a travelling merchant. I sell spices. I was thinking you may want to take a look at my goods. I have many choice of good spice. I have cinamon, cloves and even safran. I am sure you will find something that interest you."

Rinaldo starts to unpack his bag of spices to show his goods at the owner.

When Rinaldo first enters there doesn't seem to be any sort of panic or worry in the common room. People are lounging about as they do in inns all over the continent, some making conversation, others keeping to themselves and quite a few simply asleep in their chairs. The owner looks a little taken aback by the suggestion of spice trading and rubs his face with his hand. "Well, I suppose some travelers might like fancy food... dunno if the wife would know how to use them, but she handles the food stuff... hang on a bit." As he walks into the back room, Rinaldo notices one patron paying perhaps more attention to him than is warrented. The man is travelstained with dust and sweat, adn looks like he had pushed himself to get to the inn. When Rinaldo entered, he was eating and drinking with some urgency, but now he has slowed and seems to be trying to watch the spice merchant without making eye contact...

On the bluff above the inn, the horses have been tethered and are compacently munching on the ground cover while the three ladies sit and watch for Rinaldo's signal. The princess toys with sticks and draws in the dirt in a childlike fashion, but after a while says quietly under her voice. "So you're a princess as well, are you? Any pointers?" She glances at Persephone out of the corner of her ee and gives an adult grin.
