"Lets have a look at those collars. Maybe they come off. But I want to get to this kid's house ASAP. His family could be in danger." Persephone will put her hand close to a collar and examine it. Could it be taken off?

the collars have small locks on them, though they don't look terribly sturdy. The large silver disk in the center of each gives Persephone more pause though. These parts apear to be made of or plated with real silver and have a variety of symbols carefully etched into them. Rather than mere signs of ownership, the young sorceress suspects that these collars had a magical use in subduing the beasts. Whether that use was merely turned off or destroyed cannot be determined through mundane observation.

Rinaldo looks at Persephone, while she examine the collar. "Silver collar? Could these beast be some type of werewolves. I've heard silver is good against them. Have you found something usefull?"

"We probably shouldn't remove these collars. I believe they may be used to subdue the creature. They are evidently not working now, but to remove them would eliminate the chance they might start working again somehow. I don't know much about werewolves, but I'd say, let's get to this boy's family. We can bring the Princess along."

Rinaldo, it occurs to you that while silver is often associated with were creatures, cold it not. The canine was clearly projecting some sort of supernatural chilling effect while it was alive, and is much larger than any normal wolf.

When persephone meantions the boys family, he says "yes please, I want to go home... I'm scared for them though, very much."

"Thinking twice... it may not be werewolves... I don't remeber thatc cold effect on any late night story, or anything ese I've heard lately... anyway, the kids first, than we will see what we can do with that."

As you move through the fields, you sense movement in the distance several times, and once a strange sharp barking, but nothing aproaches you. Passing a house the young boy identifies as "Old Ron's" you see windows shattered and the door hanging off it's hinges, but hear nothing from inside. From there the boy begins urging you faster towards his home, and as you aproach the next nearest house, you hear a chilling noise - a high, insane laughter, as if something inhuman is having a great deal of fun... The boy beings to shake and whisper "no, no, make it stop."

near a smaller building beside the house, you think you see something unusual - a medium sized shape on the ground, shrouded in brown and white. it is not moving.

"Is that a body over there, by that smaller building? I don't like that laughter. Let's check it out. Perhaps you could sneak closer to the house, RInaldo, while the rest of us check out the body."

Rinaldo will approach slowly, silently and trying to stay hidden as much as possible, the shape to see more precisly what it is. He will approach buckler and rapier in hand.

As he gets closer to she shape he sees that it is a man, shrouded in a whitish substance and covered in dried blood. He is definitly dead. The substance looks almost like cobwebs, though there is a great amount of it.

Rinaldo walk back to the group, still trying not to draw attention. "It seems all the zoo have escaped, because we have another victims over there, and he is not death of a cold, would like be more like a spider, and at the amount of web he have on the body, or there is many spider, or the spider is big..."
