Tamarand hurries out of the cloud of darkness, rushing past Roswyn and putting some distance between himself and the armored kobold. He sees Shava battling the caster and slashes out with his daggers, a small group of meteors slamming into its back.

[sblock=OOC]
Move: to N20 (Draw's OA unless Roswyn has something in her bag of tricks to negate it, but it has -5 from cloud)
Standard: Blazing Starfall centered on T17 (however high up it is to hit the caster) - vs ref; radiant (1d20+9=21, 1d4+11=15) hits Ref 21 for 15 radiant

[sblock=ooc]Did Tamarand drop the caster? I'm guesing not, but if so, Roswyn will target the soidier instead.[/sblock]

"I'll get to you in a moment," Roswyn says to Tamarand's foe, then casts and illusion of one of the drow's fallen meteors exploding in a shower of fire. She continues moving away from the entrance.

"Ew." Shava says as she continues to duel with the kobold. She could tell her body was still hurting, but if she could just get some space she could feel her connection to the storm keeping strong. Nice imagery as well. He sees Tammarand fall into his cloud of darkness. Again. Now Roswyn seems to be waiting for him to come out. I don't have time for this.

"Will someone kill this guy please, before it makes the dragon stronger!"

Tamarand hurries out of the cloud of darkness, and the kobold slashes at him wildly as he retreats, but cuts only empty air. The drow rushes past Roswyn and putting some distance between himself and the armored kobold. He sees Shava battling the caster and slashes out with his daggers, a small group of meteors slamming into its back. It cries out in pain, spinning to see the next threat.

[sblock=ooc]
OA against Tamarand (1d20+8=13, 1d8+3=10)Miss. Tamarand hits with meteors, misses with AP meteors.[/sblock]

"I'll get to you in a moment," Roswyn says to Tamarand's foe, then casts and illusion of one of the drow's fallen meteors exploding in a shower of fire. The caster cringes, shielding it from the illusion at it wracks it's mind with doubt. She continues moving away from the entrance.

The artificer juggles his staff and crossbow again, almost dropping both, but when the crossbow is hand, levels it at the warped kobold. Tondrek mutters Hope works. Don't die Little Big Girl! and fires an acid infused bolt. But his grip is still a bit slippery and the bolt goes wide.

The dragon, now free from the attention of the goliath takes to the air, flying across the pit, next to Tamarand and the gnome. The dragon lashes out with it's claws, first at the drow, then the illusionist. The drow is able to step out of the way of the wicked claws coming at him, but Roswyn is not so lucky. The dragon leaves a painful scratch on the wizard's arm as she fades from view. The fey's power of evasion lets her escape as the dragon exhales a spray of acid at them. Tamarand is caught flatfooted, thinking himself safe after he evaded the claw,. Acid burns the skin on his right arm, blistering and boiling flesh.

[sblock=ooc]claws vs tamarand, roswyn (1d20+8=12, 1d4+3=4, 1d20+8=20, 1d4+3=5)Hits Roswyn for 5. Miss tamarand. 2nd AP: dragon breath: dragon breath vs Tamarand and roswyn (1d20+7=19, 1d20+7=16, 1d12+3=13)Tamarand takes 13 acid damage and 5 ongoing acid and a -4 to AC(save ends both)[/sblock]

The warped kobold continues it's worthless assault against the goliath, even as Tondrek's device continues to make it bleed from many small wounds.

[sblock=ooc]warped vs rohna (1d20+7=21, 2d6+6=16, 1d20+7=22, 2d6+6=13) Takes one damage from Tondrek's device.[/sblock]
The soldier takes a quick step forward and then moves into a flank with it's draconic master. The kobold, devoted to it's master, strikes easily into the drow's flank, cutting deep into his back and drawing the sorcerer's ire.

[sblock=ooc]recharge none shall pass (1d6=3)fail. S1 vs Tamarand (1d20+16=19, 1d8+3=9)hits Tamarand for 9 and he is marked by S1.[/sblock]

The caster flies away from Shava to the next highest shelf and weaves an enchantment around the head of it's master. An illusionary helmet appears over the dragon, protecting it from psychic assault. The kobold then levels his staff at Rohna once more, shooting a ray of flame out. The attack is telegraphed though as the goliath raises her shield to deflect the ray into the water where it hisses and steams.
[sblock=ooc]recharge resist/heal (1d6=6, 1d6=4) flame staff vs Rohna (1d20+11=13, 1d6+5=7) Shava gets an OA against the caster.[/sblock]

OOC - Does Rohna get an OA against the dragon? Because it couldn't shift / fly / use an at will / use an AP in the same round, so that means OA for Rohna doesn't it as the dragon left a square threatened by Rohna?

[sblock=ooc]Well that's just great. Roswyn can no longer damage the dragon for the rest of the encounter. :( No more than a couple of points at a time, max. I guess her damage is not that important in general anyhow.

If Rohna does get an OA and hits with it, that stops the dragon from moving, doesn't it? Which would be great for us though might require a big retcon of the dragon's turn...

Another minor rules point, if the soldier was blind while in the cloud, it would not have gotten the OA against Tamarand... you don't provoke OA from enemies that cannot see you. (Not that it matters since it missed.)[/sblock]

[sblock=OOC]Looks like both Rhona shifted away, but Mitra should get an OA but only if she hasn't used it this encounter (which I don't think she has).[/sblock]

[sblock=ooc]Correct about the OA blindness thing. For some reason I was thinking as long as you could hear them, you could still take the OA, albeit with a -5. Vertexx is correct, no longer adjacient so no opp att for Rohna. Shava's OA misses. Sorry ryryguy maybe Tondrek has some alchemical devices? All PCs up.[/sblock]

"Roswyn, you'd better not be around me right now, it's about to get mighty hot" the drow warns.

[sblock=ooc]
Not that it will do much, but T's best move that I can see is to use Burning Spray, shifting back to M20 to catch both the enemies. Maybe he'll crit (lol yeah right), but at least he should do about 5.5 damage to each if he hits (go striker ;))[/sblock]
