OoC: Wand shopping? I looked through the earlier posts and tried to figure out what you meant, but I didn't find anything, Kahuna. If you could elaborate...

I mentioned earlier -
If she can find a local temple with a good overlap with druids and/or rangers, katherine will definitly choose that one to look for a wand of cure light at. (she has a oaktree talisman from a druid/ranger lodge that she got in Uriels adventure, which she will not flaunt or draw attention to, but which she is wearing on a ribbon as a standard part of her outfit.) If she can get a partially empty wand at a lower cost, that would be good too...

Finished with the interview, ao'Thuir will head over to the ship first to check on the supplies of the others. Seeing Remi and the others on the deck of the ship, he will head up. "So how are things here? Looks like we may have the first of our crew. I am coming around to check that everyone is carrying a ranged weapon and has lots of ammunition. Might be a good idea to get extra too just in case."

Katherine
Ricardo takes the note, examining the seal. "Aye, lass, I'll be there." He says with a nod.

Your wand-shopping goes well... a small temple of Verdante recognizes the talisman, and is willing to sell you a half-used (25 charges remaining) wand of cure light for 375 gold.

Seeking out other crew members doesn't take quite as long as the interview with Ricardo, since you are no longer asking about pirates. You manage to round up six sailors who seem trustworthy enough, as you didn't detect anything that would indicate otherwise. They vary widely: three humans, an elf, and two halflings.

For payment, Jericho explains that a typical sailor is paid one or two silver per day.

"So how are things here?"

"Everything appears to be in good order here. As soon as we have provisions and a crew we'll be ready to sail. I have arrows already, but a couple extra quivers are never a bad idea."

"I've a few javelins and quite a few shuriken. Me fadder taught me t' use a crossbow when I was a boy, so I suppose I could use one if need be - but I haven't any money t' buy one."

OOC: We've all got 125gp each up-front for this adventure.

"Javelins are a bit short-ranged for ship-to-ship shooting. Since he can use it go ahead and get him a light crossbow instead."

"Will do. Think I will grab one for myself and another back up one too. I will be back in a bit, dont sail without me." ao'Thuir says as he heads into town to the weaponsmiths. He is going to get 3 light crossbows, 70 bolts and 40 arrows. Buying in bulk he will try to bargain and fail miserably. That should come to 114gp. He will spend that all from his own up front cash, expecting the others to cover the cost of the sailors and the trade goods.
