The smaller wererat collapsed in a bloody heap, and the larger creature writhed in pain- with another swipe of her paw the feral druid knocked the creature backwards...</p><p> </p><p> "Aye, bring it to me, rat," Braddock grins despite the fever burning from his cut. He slams his craghammer forcefully into the filthy animal, sending it skidding backwards. Now with some breathing room, Braddock moves back towards his comrades, knowing this beast will soon be finished. "I'm coming elf, hold yer breath," huffs the dwarf.</p><p> </p><p> The swarms coalesces into the form of Quan again and he seems sobered by the experience. Swinging arms and legs in smooth spins, he covers the nearby brute with a flurry of strikes before tumbling back behind a ruined wall. Then he speaks for the first time <span style="color: Gray"><strong>Do you think his daughter is a wererat too?</strong></span> given doubt to his sobriety.</p><p> </p><p> Pulling a small crossbow holstered to his chest, the elf steps towards the overly large wererat, putting it between himself and the suddenly shape-changing elven monk. With the monster's attention split between the two fey and the swarming insects, Kellindil finds no problem slipping the razor-sharp point of his blade between the lycanthrope's ribs.</p><p> </p><p> Ulrick continues to lay into the agile wererat leader, using his new found ally in Orsik, pinning Baldwin between a maul and a craghammer. Ulrick connects with a mighty strike.</p><p> </p><p> Orsik moves out of the flank, trying to avoid the advantages rats have on him and to get better look at the combatants. He calls out to Kellindil: "Look alive, friend, this is only vermin." while drawing blood red rune in the air. It flies toward the elf and erases some of it's wounds collecting blood into it. Then it explodes, small shard of blood flying to allies weapons coating them in vengeance personified. He slams his maul into Baldwin again, glancing hit which still leaves the ratman wounded. Small runes dance around him ready to pierce it's hide for some extra pain. "Now, dwarf! Hit it again! I'll get the other one!"</p><p> </p><p> [sblock=Orsik & Kellindil]Extra healing: <a href="http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/3048394/" target="_blank">(1d6=2)</a> [/sblock]</p><p> </p><p> The remaining wererats all seem to wince and shake a little bit as their lycanthropic disease start to speed their healing unnaturally (all regenerate 5 hit points, except the minions).</p><p> </p><p> The wererat minion stands, takes aim at Quan and tries to make him a pincushion (if it knew what a pincushion was), again missing wide right. It curses, and then reloads.</p><p> </p><p> The final minion quick-steps to its left, just narrowly avoiding a crossbow bolt streaking in at Quan. It makes an attack on Quan while he is distracted with the wererat brute. Obviously, Quan was anticipating this move by the minion, and the minion dies to Quan’s [insert ipod-animal form here].</p><p> [gm]Trying to gang up on Quan didn’t work haha, no flanking for the brute.[/gm]</p><p> </p><p> The wererat slides away hissing in pain as the crafty dwarf bolts inside the ruined warehouse. It sees Ulrick’s back to it, fighting Baldwin, so he charges an easy mark. It slowly sinks its rodent teeth past the armored protection of the fine dwarven platemail. The dwarf paladin immediately feels the disease running rampant through his veins. The wererat seems more lethal when attacking with advantage.</p><p> </p><p> The wererat shifts in pursuit of Orsik, biting the goliath on his calf, a mere pin prick. Immediately, Orsik feels the foul disease coarse through his veins.</p><p> </p><p> The cursed wererat, seeing Kellindil exchange blows with the brute, turns his full attention to the taunting dwarf warlock. It sidesteps towards the wall to help shield its flank, then swings its short sword at Braddock, but the dwarf ducks underneath the sword with ease.</p><p> </p><p> The wererat brute shakes off the devil-cat’s frozen saliva, it steps left onto the trapdoor, then it - curiously - stomps its foot three times. Then the wererat brute takes a lunging bite at the cat, but it only snaps the air where the cat was just crouching. </p><p> [sblock=Rikka Only]</p><p> [sblock=Insight check DC 10]You recognize this stomping as a signal to whatever is below ground[/sblock][/sblock]</p><p> </p><p> The wererat brute hisses at Kellindil for wounding it greatly. In retaliation, it swings its greataxe at the elf rogue, but the elf deflects it with his sword. It then sidesteps to its right, leading with its greataxe to attack the monk and move further away from the elf rogue. As Quan lashes out to strike at the wererat minion, the brute’s greataxe cleaves the air where the monk head would have been, missing completely. </p><p> </p><p> <span style="color: Gray">”Taste my steel, dwarf scum!”</span>, shouts Baldwin as his rapier finds a gap in Ulrick’s armor, wounding Ulrick slightly.
