(Adventure) Immortality Awakens (Knight Otu Judging) Part II

"I'll fetch her. If you have some healing salve of some kind though sir, it would be much appreciated. This is certaintly not the safest of works."

Cade wanders up stairs and knocks on Tandy's door. "Tandy, it appears we have work to do."

*As far as Thurgan can see, the inn's common room is empty at the moment except for the group and Maurice.*

"Healing salve?" Maurice replies to Cade, "Well, I don't have anything that can do miracle healing, like a priest, but I do have some ointment that will staunch bleeding and help stabilise someone who is dying."

Tandi, having known that somehow they would end up finding another heart to heal, was already awake when Cade's knock came. "Yes, Cade, I'll be right there." As she opens the door, she looks at him. "Let me guess, another daughter in need of rescue? That seems to be our mission in life, saving daughters and all..." Tandi smiles. "Let's go."

Cade says to Maurice "That will help quite a bit. Thank you."

Cade chuckles and nods to Tandi. "Aye, that does seem ta be tha case. Tis only a little dragon this time. No 'bad doggie'."

"Here's the map. I marked the town here, and the general area of the mountains where there are caves over here. It is a rather wide swathe, but hopefully tracks or something can narrow down the true location of the dragon's cave."

Cade meanders back down with Tandi, and looks over his companions. "Well, how far we going and what other supplies do we need?"

Anton ponders, "Well, he said the trip could be made in a day. I think we have more than enough rations than that. I believe we may be ready to depart."

"Okay, hold on while I pack up all the alchemical stuff, please."

*Maurice pulls off some vials and beakers from the connections he has here and then heads to the backroom, coming back with everything in a neat box.*

"Now you take good care of this box, y'hear? The glass is very fragile, and some of this is dangerous if it breaks. Specifically, I would keep it out of the reach of any firebreaths if possible."

"Let me tell you everything I packed in this box--"

"This hear is where the Nightdrops are. They'll let you all see in the dark just like a Dwarf so you don't need to bring a light along. Be mindful, dragons can see much better than humans in dim light, but in pitch blackness with my Nightdrops, you'll be on a more equal ground. Also, you might not wake it up without light if you are careful, though you should probably lead off with ranged attacks at a safe distance, since dragons can sense anything that is really really close."

"These three vials contain Liquid Air. It's really really cold, much colder than ice, so it'll hurt that dragon good, that's for sure."

"Over here, I brought the Clotsalve as requested. It'll help staunch bleeding and just might save someone's life."

"And lastly, I added Essence of Darkness and Whisperslick, here and here. Those will help you hide and move quietly, even in armour."

"Is there anything else you need?"

Thurgan Hammer, Dwarven Crafter

Thurgan just listened to Maurice as he explained all of the different alchemical solutions, his eyes slowly glazing over. When he was finished, Thurgan complimented, "Yer a true craftsman, there."

"Indeed he is," Anton nods. "I imagine you have considered what of your alchemical items would come in most useful to us, and I trust your judgement. We should need nothing else. As long as I have my bow and enough arrows, I am fine."
