(OOC: Okey dokey!)

*The group moves slowly but steadily through the caverns, unsure of how long their alchemical boons will last. Those who care to pay attention to the noise made by the others notice that even those not trained in stealth are nearly silent and unnoticable at all times, a testament to the effectiveness of the Whisperslick, which dampens the sounds they emit, and the Essence of Darkness, which causes even Darkvision to tend to classify the others as simple patches of darkness, like the stone walls around them, particularly Rillian, Cade, and Krug...everyone except Scun that is. With his Chainmail and Heavy Shield, even the Whisperslick reaches its limit, and although he manages to keep quiet sometimes, he clankity clanks softly in the cavern some of the time, as if he was merely wearing light armour instead of medium and a shield, but still, the walls begin to echo with a faint ghostly reverberation of Scun's clankings.*

(OOC: Okay--keep in mind that mechanically, with the shield, Scun was -7 louder and less stealthy than the next character (Thurgan, who is also untrained). Without, he is -5 louder than anyone else. Does the way I explained that make sense? Sometimes I confuse myself  )

(OOC: Oh, and if you set up Scun 50 feet behind the rest without his shield, he winds up at the same bonus as Thurgan, thanks to the distance penalty to Spot and Listen)

ooc: That makes sense to me, at least.

It's a good bet that dragon already knows you're here. Yeah, I know. Nothing you can do about it. Yeah, I know. Oh well, huh? Shut up. Tandi continues to move along, knowing that adding her own two coppers would make things worse rather than better. She trusted the others to maintain their own noise discipline.

Scun will fall back a bit, to 30' behind the last person in line.

(really -5 worse than the next guy? so the next worst is +2 to move silently (not counting the oil) among all of them?)
