(Adventure) Immortality Awakens (Knight Otu Judging) Part II

[Rystil Arden]

"Great, so now you've tied me up. Are you going to have your way with me? Sell me into slavery? You have already destroyed a good and noble soul and sentenced this town to their doom the next time the orcs are on the rise. Can't you leave me alone?" she has quieted down a bit though, perhaps because she considers her chances of not winding up with Larue to be better if her father doesn't hear.

 

[Bront]

"I'm not into humans, sorry," Cade says. "And anyone else who has such ideas will find themselves on the wrong end of ol Alton here." He pats his dog's head.

"The Orcs again, eh? Another town we were in mentioned them as well. Where are they causin' trouble?"

 

[Rystil Arden]

"Well, they used to be afraid to attack here because Valaryn has been protecting our town, fighting and scaring them off. It's gotten to the point that the guard has become more lax because they don't think the orcs are around any more, but they are, and one day, they're going to come and pillage the town."

 

[Bront]

"Well, we'll have to see what we can do about that, seeing as we caused this mess 'n all."

Cade turns to the girl, "Now see? We kin talk and such with you yellin' and screamin' and callin' names and such. Name's Cade Jenner, and I wish we'd've met under better circumstances."

 

[Rystil Arden]

"Just leave me alone. You slaughtered my Valaryn even though I'm sure he gave you ample opportunities to leave safely without a fight. You don't look like much...I don't know how you defeated him. I bet you slaughtered him while he was asleep or something. Just let me go!"

 

[Bront]

"So you can kill yerself? Nay ma'am. I'll not do that. Something's ammis here, and you've been enchanted, I just wish I knew how."

 

[Rystil Arden]

"Enchanted? I'm fine! Let me go before I get enchanted for real by Larue!"

 

[Bront]

"Shh, he's not here now is he? Just relax. We won't be throwin ya to the wolves, and we'll get this all sorted out soon, but ya need to trust us."

 

[Rystil Arden]

"Relax and trust you?! You killed my Valaryn! I don't want to have anything to do with you!"

 

[Bront]

"We killed him because you decieved your father about what happened to you, and he sent us after you. How were we supposed to know? And after we get there, not only do we find that we've made a mess, ye try to make it worse by tryin ta kill yerself. How's that supposed ta help? Ma'am, all I want ta do is find a way to solve this where ye kin go on yer merry way, and no one else has ta die. So give us a chance te do that, and we'll certaintly be out a yer hair faster it it will definately be easier on everyone."
