OOC: If Kane retcons his move, Carolina will setup the flank to whatever that is and go for a sneak attack or two... and possibly line up a stealthy shot at the cleric. I'll wait until it's final before I make the move then.

ooc - ok with me for Kane to retcon and keep the same target... however, I'm pretty sure the zombie at H15 that Carolina seems to be eyeing was taken out by Wil. Unfortunately I don't think there is a target she can easily flank. :(

Re: ryry's comments - Will did not drop H15 (he dropped a corruption corpse to the east of that one). So, H15 is still a good flanking target.

Kane is now at G14.

Dims, don't forget to revise your actions (you said you were waiting on kane to post).

[sblock=ooc]There are just too many enemies in this fight!

If I had had that straight, Hergunna would just have attacked H15 to begin with... in retrospect, it's now clear to me why Kane moved where he did, it was a set up a flank on that guy. And hitting the target with Savage Rend would have allowed her to slide it a square too, to set up a later flank for Carolina. :(

Oh well.[/sblock]

[sblock=Kruk action]
ooc: Sorry for the delay. Question: If Kruk saved vs prone, should he be at H13? If so, then he'll take a swipe at the wraithborn.

[sblock=H13 attack]
one action being dazed

comeback strike vs wraithborn AC: 1d20+12=25 for 2d10+5=11 and Kruk spends a healing surge, saving second wind for another time

continue mark on wraithborn
[/sblock]

If not (meaning the wraithborn or the corpse of dispair was able to push him to H14), he'll use second wind

sooo: either way he is able to take healing surge so HP is 59

[sblock=OOC]At the risk of dragging this out even longer, you can still do that. Just make a post to let me and caroline know if you retcon, or if you decide not to retcon. [/sblock]

Carolina spots an opening and darts in with her dagger drawn. She delivers two quick strikes to the walking corpse, her simple weapon doing considerably more damage than it ought, before diving over the coffin and ducking down on the other side.

[sblock=Actions]
-Standard Action
Deft Strike
Move to I15 and attack Corpse of Despair
1d20+13+2 hits AC 22 for 20 damage (Roll Lookup)

Damage breakdown: 1d4+6+1+2d8 (normal damage+CA with subtle weapon+sneak attack)

*Use Action Point*

-Standard Action
Sly flourish
1d20+13+2; hits AC 20 for 17 damage (Roll Lookup)
Damage Breakdown: 1d4+10+1+2d8 (normal damage+CA with subtle dagger+slaying action feat&sneak attack)

Move to H17; AC is 27 vs. OA's

That's a total of 37 points of damage to the Corpse of Despair.

If Carolina can use the coffin to gain a stealth advantage for a ranged attack against the cleric next round, here is the roll. If not, please let me know and ignore this roll.
Stealth: 1d20+12=28

[sblock=IG]Did you consider retraining one of your at-will (probably deft strike because Sly Flourish is just too powerful for you) to take clever strike?

I don't want to be overbearing, here. It's just a power I swear by for my melee based rogue and by what little I've seen of you character she would make good use of it too. It makes gaining melee sneak attack a given considering this is a melee heavy group. It prevents the need to move in risky spots just for the sake of a sneak attack. Better, if you start fighting side by side with a defender and with an enemy adjacent to both of you (not uncommon), it allows you to do a sneak attack and then shift behind the defender. Yay! Isn't that better than shifting in a flanking position and then get ****ed because the enemies can pile up on you!? In short, it's the power of adaptable flanker available at will. For everything else, there is mastercard.

And you probably can't use the coffin for a stealth check because it normally takes full cover to attempt a stealth check. Remember, Charina has been doing it based on the fact she took Cunning Sneak instead of Artful Dodger as far as Rogue features are concerned. Otherwise, the majority of the stealth check she performed so far would have been illegal.
