OOC: Seeing as it's been several months since the last post, and we've lost half of the PCs to RL attrition, I'd like to declare this adventure officially abandoned, unless Covaithe deems otherwise. I would like, also, to write Mikara out of it and back into the Hanged Man, unless it picks up soon. I'm not angry . I would simply like to get my favorite character back into action.

Thanks to nerdytenor for reminding me that I'd never tied this off properly, and my apologies, again, to the players who are still active from here. A big mess, and mostly my fault. Still, you earned the xp, so here it is.

Skill challenge to find the dragon's lair: complexity 3 at level 4 is 525 xp,
doubled to 1050, or 175 each.

Time xp is a bit complicated for this, because the proposal to double time xp passed partway through the interval in question. It was explained in that thread that DMs should award split the time, and award single xp before it passed and double xp after it passed. For the purposes of this calculation, I take the date of passage to be 4th September 2010. That might be a day or two early, but, eh. It makes the math easier, given that the day we officially closed this was 4th October 2010.


Time xp before doubling:
Woe: 6 months and 16/31 days at level 4 (18 Feb 2010 to 4 Sept 2010) for 945 xp and 1140 gold
Hacker: 5 months and 26/31 days at level 4 (9 Mar 2010 to 4 Sept 2010) for 847 xp and 1022g
Kathalia: 5 months and 26/31 days at level 4 (9 Mar 2010 to 4 Sept 2010) for 847 xp and 1022g
Atreus: 5 months and 14/31 days at level 4 (20 Mar 2010 to 4 Sept 2010) for 790 xp and 954g
Mikara: 6 months and 21/31 days at level 4 (14 Feb 2010 to 4 Sept 2010) for 968 xp and 1169g
Tristan: 6 months and 21/31 days at level 3 (14 Feb 2010 to 4 Sept 2010) for 835 xp and 848g

I believe Kathalia intends to retire, and this puts her just over the line into 5th level. Mikara is in another game; HMG you should probably work out with your DM over there when the XP should be applied. I think all the other players are inactive... but they may come back someday. Stranger things have happened.

I don't know that I can reasonably claim to deserve any DM points from this sadly unfinished mess, but if garyh wants to award them, the relevant dates should be 7th December 2009 to 21st July 2010, which is the last in-game post I made here.
