[Adventure] Marna is Missing (DM: pacdidj, Judge: renau1g)

After Jezebel shakes off the mental assault, she seems distracted by something at the ritual table.

It figures he would need a woman to direct his scheme...

The approaching shadow tendrils force Jezebel on her guard once again. She quickly thinks about how best to proceed, considering that she will be cut off from her allies if she advances further towards the warlock.

[sblock=skill checks / infernal wrath]Passive skills
Perception 21 succeeds to see the woman in the mirror, History 14 fails, Arcana 19 succeeds to know about stopping the source of the tendrils.

Infernal Wrath: 10 fire damage against Dhakanmirr

I used all my good rolls on passive skill checks. :.-([/sblock]
OOC: I'll wait to see how the rest of the group acts. I want to try to disrupt the ritual (and so stop more tendrils from appearing), but I also don't want to go off on my own against the big bad.

Pac: If I strike Hekthesh from 2 squares away with a reach weapon, will that trigger his shadow parry (either in whole or in part)?

Cyr blasts again with his radiant rays, trying to clear the way toward the altar. One extra ray shoots toward the Hektesh.

"Lock him down! We'll take care of the warlock." he shouts to warforged knight and feral priest

It seems he's finally had his feathers ruffled, his voice is angry not calm and carries distant echo of thunder with it. He rushes forward, beams curling away from him to strike closest enemies. The beams themselves are brighter, almost like lightning striking in the darkness.

Getting into position, he feels the energy of the ritual building and spiritual energy of countless eladrin who died against The Eye. His own soul, even bound to this body cries out against the abbomination and focuses thousands of lifetimes of fighting against the darkness in one mighty push against warlock's will.

[sblock=Actions]

- somehow, damage is always maximized when one rolls a crit! And wasted on a minion :( - still, may prevent it's return and I hit with all three!Move: AV 20 preferred (or AQ 20, depends on which (if any) shadows re-appear and block the way) - CYR IGNORES OA's FROM THE SHADOWS TO GET INTO POSITION STATED ABOVE
Minor: Religion to disrupt the ritual (1d20+11=31) - CRIT again! wow, and all that without combat effect[/sblock]

OOC: If Dhakanmirr cannot use any of his minor actions to maintain the ritual (such as if he's stunned) would the ritual end? or we would just buy some time?

OOC: Pac do you mind rolling for the RTs that Cyr killed when you get the chance? I want to know if Alnar can move past them. (or is that only on their turn?)

Thanks :)

OOC: Can we roll to save time? it's normal saving throw, right? So, PC hits and instead of damage rolls incorporeal form.

Also. maybe Alnar could Mage Hand tjurungas from the altar? Then we could blast away with Lightinign and Starfall catching the mirror and the warlock together...

OOC: I was waiting for pac to let me know which way the water is flowing to see if I want to risk swimming. Last time it cost me a full round AND an action point to get out of the water and Sir Exsixten is jammed up here with no targets really reachable.

If the water heads to the west, I'll risk it since it'll push me closer to the fight. If it goes the other way, I'll figure something else out since I don't really want to be taking piles of damage and wasting actions being dragged out of the fight.

OOC: I'm also waiting on an answer from Pac. If I shift-charge Hekthesh, I might be able to trigger his shadow parry and get him to move away from Ferris. Even if he doesn't move, he'd be marked and possibly suffer big penalties to attack Ferris with an OA.

OOC: In the room description it says the well is the source of the canals and water over flows its sides. Probably safe to say that the water runs L to R (mapwise)

OOC: Looks like we're just waiting for info from [MENTION=86793]pacdidj[/MENTION] at the moment. If Hek can be moved away, then Sir Exsixten can get to him, right now, he's got us blocked in on this side.
