Adventure Module Suggestions (for DnD)?

Errant

First Post
Well a work posting has put my gaming life in hibernation for a few months but holidays & a chance to catch up with the gaming gang for me to run a quick game are coming up soon.

Can anyone recommend some good adventures/modules?

You might try being a little more specific. Do you want hack n' slash, city-based, intrigue..etc?

If you want a good adventure with some investigation and dungeon crawling, try The Grey Citadel by Necromancer Games.

Thanks Munin.

Specifics, good idea but hard to supply. I expect to have 3-6 players who vary from hack n slashers to good roleplayers, so some will want good intrigue & investigation, others will be happy to just sit back & wait for the fighting to start.

Because we're a long time between sessions, I'm hoping for short(ish) adventure that can be played in one or two sessions, preferably L12+.

City vs dungeon vs wilderness isn't important as long as theres an interesting story to the adventure.

Hope that helps.

I really suggest you check out Necromancer Games modules... I honestly think they are the best being put out these days. Top picks for me:

Rappan Athuk - the ultimate dungeon crawl.
Tomb of Absythor - very nice dungeon here
Vault of Larin Karr - wilderness and underdark adventure, plenty of chance for role-play
Crucible of Freya - one of the first 3e adventures and still one of the best low-level ones.

Personally my all time favorite is a AD&D 2E adventure which my DM converted to 3E. It is "A Paladin in Hell". I loved it because it had a lot of 1E feel to it and story actually made the party care if it succeeded. It would be pretty tough for a party of 4 since most 2E adventures were designed for larger groups but you could always put equalizers in there.
