Adventure or Adventure book?

I would love some clarity here.
We have been told each setting will be getting 3 books: Campaign Guide (DM), Player's Guide (players, and DM for good measure), and Adventure.

Now does that mean Adventure is a book, like Greyhawk Adventures? Or is that an Adventure like Sunless Citadel?

Except that we've been told that it's one adventure total and one adventure only. So don't expect to see FR2 anywhere besides D&D Insider.

As for the OP's question: The product page lists it as a 96 page adventure that takes characters from 2nd to 5th level. So longer than H1: Keep on the Shadowfell (only 64 pages, including quick-play rules), but comparable to H2 or H3(both at 96 pages, and cover three-and-four level spans respectively).

I have no idea what an adventure "book" would entail. Most likely just an adventure module, though I think it would be great to release an entire Adventure Path in book format, from beginning to end. Now THAT I would buy. For every setting they release. It would be awesome to have one book with an entire AP in one book.

Hmmm.... I was under the impression that it was an Adventure Guide that basically gave information on converting generic adventures to the setting.

I suspect there will be a 1st level adventure in the DM's guide.

I'm with Fitz here.
I'm pretty sure it's more of an Adventure's Guide. Like just stuff about the Realms and the Gods and the History. All Fluff.
The Players Guide would be all Crunch.
And the DM's guide would be How to run your game in this setting.

That's my guess.
I'm thinking they could add adventures for years to come for a setting.
If it's 1 adventure, how can anyone just "pick up" a campaign and run it?
I know plenty of people say they don't have time to make a full campaign themselves.

Plus, "First official adventure module for 4th edition Forgotten Realms." That's what it says on Amazon.
