Adventure or Adventure book?

I'm with Fitz here.
I'm pretty sure it's more of an Adventure's Guide. Like just stuff about the Realms and the Gods and the History. All Fluff.
The Players Guide would be all Crunch.
And the DM's guide would be How to run your game in this setting.

Oh, now that I would kinda like. Makes a certain amount of sense too.

And, I think we'll be seeing module support in addition to the three books limit, to be honest. Three books, obviously, doesn't cover fiction, so, it's already more than three "books" to a setting. I would think that module support, either through the DDI or print (or probably both) will be forthcoming.

In an ideal world, Wizards would published a full set of adventure (covering lvl 1-30) for each setting. But I doubt they are going to go this route as it's expensive to do so. If they'd choose to create PDF instead of publishing adventures it would be feasible, but I guess Wizards don't trust or like PDF. If they're not covering lvl 1-30 with published adventures, an Adventure Guide is the least they could do.

Plus, I think Wizards should have released a PoL Adventure Guide as part of the core book instead of including only a city plus its surrounding in the DMG. This way it would have left more space for important rule/info in the DMG, plus beginner DM would have an important tool to create their own PoL setting.

What I think they'll do is published a full set of adventure only for FR and Eberron and then publish Adventure Guides for future settings.

You know they do have product info on the Wizards website. In 2008 there will be 3 Forgoten Relmes campaign books.
