(Perhaps this post might be better in "Story Hour", but since the story hasn't _happened_ yet, I'll throw it to the wolves here in General.)
My problem: I have several bits for a really neat adventure for my on-going campaign, all the major NPCs, a number of interesting minor characters, a general location, etc., just not a larger plot/theme to tie everything together. Help!
This is what I have:
- A young adult red dragon, Joasth, lives in/near a volcano. Her lair is inhabited by half-dragon trolls and has pockets of lava and other dangers.
- A human vampire sorcerer/dragon disciple named Olona. Olona is something of an archeologist and sage; she has come to Joasth's lair in search of an ancient ruin and the lore therein/nearby.
- Olona's minions: a vampire minotaur barbarian, some vampire rogues and fighters.
- a band of werewolf bugbears with a ranger leader.
- Two warring clans of humanoids, one of troglodytes and one of grimlocks; normal and elite warriors for each clan (Rgr trogs and Bbn grimlocks) along with chieftains and shamans (Drd trog and Adp grimlock), and some spiffy-looking lairs.
