Sara gives a grimacy smile. "Your son came a long way to get us... was it looking for the right people for the job - or just those crazy enough to take it? Your guard looks pretty competent, is all... yeah I'm cocky, but I fight in my own battle class back home..."

At this question/statment Sebastian sits forward a little to make sure he hears the elfs answer.

"It sounds like you have questions yourself about this matter, and it may go beyond merely recovering the key. For if these thieves are clever enough to take the key, even if we recover it, they might try something else. Would there be additional reward for information about, or capture of those responsible? And speaking of the reward. Will you be paying that in cash upon our returning the key here? I'm sure we would also like free transit back home as well, as I don't think we realized how far we were going for this."

Mithreander smiles at the mercenarian (is that a word?) negociation and answers each question quickly, without apparent thought as they come. "Any additional information that you get regarding the motives of the theft would be rewarded as well as informtion regarding any further reprocussions of the theft. Further, if you manage to capture and return with those responsible, then again I would reward you for the opertunity for information they would represent. As I had stated in my original request, I will pay the survivors 1000 gold crowns. I'm a good devinor, but not that good, so I'll have to wait till they return for me to pay them. As for transpertation back to the Red Dragon Inn, that was, of course, implied, and I will now varify that."

"Oh, I'm in!" Llolian says. The elf looks wistfully at the display of power made by these wizards. Perhaps I made a mistake in neglecting arcane lore . . .
Llolian then realizes Serene Wind asks a very good question. WHere did this start?

"H'unnet, a question. Why would anyone want to steal your key?"

In answer to the question, Mithreander answers "Tomorrow is soon enough. As I have stated, I have made arangememnts for room for you at an inn located in the upper city. You'll have to pass it on your way out at any rate, and since night is falling, you may as well get a good nights sleep before beginning in earnest."

He then turns his gaze at Llolian and says "The only reason that the council is contimplating is the destruction of Fallen, though, as I have stated before, if I can make a duplicate in time, that will not happen. There are also other possibilities, such as ransome, or for the metal (though there are other sources of mithral less hazardous to aquire then the key), or to learn the secrets to the device that the key is to."

Mithreander stands with a smile that looks like it's about to split his too tight skin, emphisising once more the gauntness of the elf. "I think we are done here. I'll have my son guide you to the inn where I have the rooms reserved. Please come to the tower after retreiving the key, and tell the gate gaurds that you are H'unnetts retreivers and they will let you into the collage. Knock thrice on the door of this tower and you will be guided to me. If there is nothing else?" He motions to a path leading away from the glade, and you see his son there, waiting to escort you.

"Keep the homing device safe, for it's the only thing to guide you to the key. Loose it, and you lose the key." Mithreander nods to them with that last statement.
