Varak moves forward, onto the bloodrock, ducking and slashing with the blade in his left hande against against the scimitar wielder. His blade finds blood, and he quickly spins, slashing at his other blade as he passes and closes to the other opponent. His weapons cleaves into his opponent's side, felling it, and the half-orc continues on, trampling the body in his wake and thrusting his blade past the guard and into the gut of the glaive-wielder. Varak shuts his eyes for a fraction of a second, to spy the creature's vulnurable points. A shadow settles over the glaive-wielder's hip.
As Varak hits the glaive-wielder, the hobgoblin quickly steps backwards and hurls a small dart at the half-orc. It causes only a minor wound, but it carries some sort of poison that the barbarian can't shrug off.

Harressh trots up to stand near Alex. He spits out a ball of ice, catching it on the end of his staff. The ice-ball spins on the tip for a moment, increasing in size, then he flings it at the scimitar-wielding goblin standing on the bloodrock. But the shot is poorly aimed and the hobgoblin sidesteps the blow.
Enemies continue to fall around Haltor as his boldness brings out the best of his companions.
Death of a thousand wounds it shall be! Goblin blood is sweet! Circling around, he lines up another charge against the one that nearly felled him, White Eye leaping at the attack to bring him down!
And down you go! Haaahahaa!
The hobgoblin tries a swing at Haltor, but the halfling easily dodges it.

With Haltor quickly being surrounded and menaced by a group of three hobgoblins, Vistrathis focuses his mind and feels something "click" into place. The air around him feels like extra buoyant water and as Vistrathis leaps to his companion's aid, the swordmage angles himself to make a controlled landing on top of the boulder next to his halfling compatriot. With sword drawn, Vistrathis makes several slices in the air. Magical sigils, glowing in neon green and purple, remain in the path of the magically imbued blade. With a final swipe of his sword, Vistrathis sends the magical sigils flying towards two of his foes below him. Both sigils hit their mark, resulting in an explosion of force that burns the sigils into the hobgoblins' skin.
"Keep your eyes on me, friends. Attack anyone else and you'll regret it!"
Vistrathis turns his head towards the third enemy, just out of his reach, and waves a hand towards the hobgoblin. Grinning at the goblinoid he holds his sword at the ready and makes a rude gesture towards him with his open hand. An aura of transparent magical energy begins to glow around the hobgoblin's weapon.
"Attacking my halfling friend would be futile at this point. I advise that you move on before you are become his mounts dinner."
The scimitar wielder succumbs to the wounds.
Alex moves to the east to get a clear shot at the hobgoblin still there. He hurls a bunch of illusory arrows that attack from behind the remaining scimitar wielder. The hobgoblin successfully sees through the effect.

The scimitar wielder then dashes towards his embattled leader and moves next to Haltor. He looks ready to strike.
The glaive wielder moves onto the red-coloured stone and begins stabbing wildly at anything that moves near him. The gith is stabbed viciously by the glaive and he is knocked off the rock. White-Eye is also slashed by the weapon. Varak and Haltor parry his blows.
The scimitar wielder thinks to take advantage of the halfling's attention being elsewhere and sneaks in a slash to Haltor's back.
This inspires the glaive wielder and he continues his whirlwind of blades, this time catching White-Eye, Haltor and Vistrathis, the gith being slid painfully along the ground before the hobgoblin pulls the weapon free. The blow knocks Haltor out and nearly drops White-Eye.
"We'll be eating halfling tonight!" it spats as it waves the weapon around carefully.

Yeah, so a second leader seems like it would be appreciated with this group.
On the map s hobbo is scimitar, g hobbo is glaive-wielder. So funny story, I rolled their hide checks and got a 1 and a 2.... Apologies for the map, it's hard because they're pretty far away.
