Just a note relating to Haltor's comments about Door.

There's actually 4 sets of doors exiting this room.

1) to the east of the room (the secret entrance you came through)
2) one to the North-west
3) a double-door to the west
4) one to the south west

The doors are steel and have a spinning wheel in the middle that looks to unlock the portal.

Tock sheaths his sword, "You're right, this is a weird group. I don't think I've ever worked with a halfling.."
Grinning, he pushes his helm back and looks towards the doors, "How about the short story? Where did you come in, and where are you headed?"

Mal starts walking around the room, avoiding the doors. He peers over the edge, seeing the dead drakes below. He looks to Haltor, who’s had the answers so far. “Which way did you come in? What’ve you seen so far? Do we know where the objective is at all?”

A breath later he turns to Deimos, “You have a familiar?”

Haltor gestures to the secret door to the NE. We came from there. The ghostly guardian was guarding the double doors. We had not yet checked them before some of ours vanished and you appeared.

He straightens up and saddles his mount. Whatever is disturbing these ruins is through there somewhere as we've been told. Someone hired a bunch of Dargunites to loot this place. Considering the shady things Cannith is known to dabble in, it's best they be stopped. We've already seen flesh-constructs. he blinks, realizing that he is the only one that had. I have, at any rate.

OOC: House Cannith is general Eberron knowledge: They made the warforged and are responsible for much magical crafting. "Hobs" is a derogatory term for hobgoblins.

To Deimos he says, "Familiars can make excellent scouts. I've given thought to studying the Arcane just to get my hands on an Imp."

He listens to Haltor's report and nods. He looks between Gark and Talos, "So who opens the door? Without something with a supernatural edge, I might suggest Tock stray ahead a bit. Any surprises on the spook we might want to know about? It sounds like he'll be back."
