The captain jumps as the warforged's hand hits the table. His spoon hops out of his plate and onto the floor. He begins to stammer a response to this when Colgrave cuts in. He looks down at the talismans with some skepticism. "Yes, well, The Lady, at least'd see me through." Still, he's progressively looking more nervous about the whole affair, although it's clear that the talk of gold caught his attention even as the warforged frightened him. You can see he's starting to look annoyed again, although you think it isn't with you. "An' who said all tha' now? Cap'n Bob? Cap'n Bob be nothin' but a lilly-livered pirate. Lost 16 units o' cargo indeed. Dumped 'em overboard more'n likely when 'e thought some 'thority might notice. Firs' sign o' inspection he gets tichy. He'd ne'er take ye, whatever anyun said. He'd ne'er risk Ther Mist." He's looking prideful and you can see the money calling to him more and more. "Gah!" he squeals as Eve appears. He clutches his chest, breathing heavy. "I'm no' lookin' fer any trouble wit demons," he says carefully, but the greed is still shining in his eyes all the while. "Aye an' tha' be the truth," he says finally. "Me lady wouldna look kindly on me fer cowardice, tha's sure. Fine, an' I'll help ye, but I'll be finishin' me food firs' an' it'll be tha' 50 gold up front, mind. Why don' ye join me. Ye canna'f eaten yet if'n ye've been out huntin' fer ship since ye 'rived." With that, he gets another spoon and resumes eating his meal. "So, what ye be wantin' over in tha' wastel'nd anyway?"
