OOC:
Notes about the map

1. I've added the stench aura. Anyone above row 12 is engulfed by the smell (-1 speed and -1 attack). Those who have saved feel no effects.

Saved vs Endurance as of now.
Raijin
Rocco

2. All squares containing D.T. are difficult terrain due to various debris from boulders, large bones, pieces of broken armor, etc...stuff that could easily be picked up by giant sized creatures and thrown at adventurers trying to kill them. :)

Nementah and Rocco up and then bad guys.

Nementah moves closer, but is careful not to step too deep into the cave. Primera, being ephemeral has no such olfactory trouble and goes forward to show herself to the brutes.

"Vimak, call out to them. Tell them this is our cave now and they should move their sorry hides out before we make them our servants."

[sblock=Actions]
Move: F13, Primera I10
Standard: Ready Attack against first enemy to reach Primera.
[/sblock]

Rocco moves closer, clambering over dead ogre and pulls one of his axes out, readying a throw as soon as some giant shows himself.

[sblock=Actions]
Move: G11
Minor: Take out Bloodfire (thowing axe +1)
Standard: Ready action throw when giants comes within 5
[/sblock]

The hill giant barks out orders speaking in giant language. The ogres obey, moving closer. One manages to get in range to strike at Primera with his great club. The hill giant and the other ogre grab rocks and hurl them at Raijin, missing both times due to the cat-like reflexes of the sorcerer. It is clear that the ogres plan charge into the hero's defenses soon. The hill giant pauses to survey the battle field.

OOC: [MENTION=87106]MetaVoid[/MENTION] What is Primera's AC. Is it higher than 17? If not, it will take more than 13 points damage causing it to disappear and Nementah to take damage.

Question for seasoned DMs:
What happens if the foes don't reach the range of characters readied actions?

Raijin looks back at his allies, poised to attack the gigantic opponents. Why do you hesitate? he asks and storms forward to breathe lightning over two of the foes. The ogre takes the brunt of the attack though it still injures the Hill Giant. He then breathes in and slams the ogre with a fist, tossing it over his head and towards his allies.

OOC: dimsdale Not sure with Mal's rules, since now O1 is in range of attacks
Move:Walk to K6
Standard:Lightning Breath blast 3, two targets Miss for half and TENT enemies that hit take 5 damage and I push 2
AP: Teleport bash O1 - hit and port 4 into allies line of sight

Totals: Ogre 1 - 58 damage and teleported, Hill Giant - 16 damage

OOC: Wooooooh Raijin. Let me take care of some things first.

The following characters had taken place or where readied actions. I need to determine whether or not any of the readied actions could be used this round.

Quan: Readied action: Ranged attack: (you are farther away than 10 squares from any target. [MENTION=88601]FourMonos[/MENTION] I don't know the range of your ranged attack, so I'll assume that the ogres are not within range unless you tell me otherwise. If so, go ahead and roll your attack agains O1. O1 will have cover.

Raijin: Didn't have a readied action. He hit O1

Halleck: Frist ogre to come into view was O1. Hits for 8 damage and O1 has a -2 to attack rolls until end of Halleck's next turn

Vimak: Had and action: Miss

Skalisss: Readied attack will be a hit, but could not be used this round since no enemy is in range of the attack. It will count as your attack for next round when an enemy is in range.

MetaVoid: O2 did reach Primera. What is Nementah's readied attack? I couldn't find it in your post.

Rocco: You can attack O1 or O2 with your readied attack: the throwing dagger. Go for it.

Sooooo... all of these attacks must take place first before Raijin's new (devastating) attack counts. O2's and HG's hp back to the way it was before Raijin's attack until all of this is sorted out. [MENTION=73730]johnmeier1[/MENTION] I put the map back to the way it was before you posted your turn. After everyone else has posted then you can put them back.

Nementah glares at the beast daring to attack her beloved spirit. Spirits of the cave drop on it's head and ravage it's mind.

[sblock=Actions]
Readied action: Haunting Spirits (cover) vs O2; psychic damage (1d20+10-2=17, 1d6+7=10) - ogre grants CA to the next one to attack it
[/sblock]

OOC: Sorry dimsdale, next time I'll put up all stats so you can roll as it triggers so we don't waste time. Spirit companions shares the attributes of hte shaman. AC is 19.

Rocco throws his axe and it hits solidly, returning to his hand in an instant.

[sblock=Actions]
Readied throw: RBA (Frost fury handaxe) vs O2 AC; damage (1d20+11-2=25, 1d6.minroll(2)+9=11) - MARK
[/sblock]

[sblock=Rules question]
Readied actions not triggered are lost.

Rocco throws the handaxe not the dagger(my last post included minor for drawing it)

There are two O2 on the map, I assume upper one to be O1 (by description of the actions)...it is also hurt somehow?! by Raijin?
