Sworc calls up, and disappears up through the trap door. The group follows to the base of the ladder, but the voices are too muffled to hear. Their tone, however is obviously threatening. Suddenly, the first voice booms once more, "Sworc Foredrum! As a representative of the People of Rioc Alair, I declare this establishment outside the protection of the people!"  The sound of breaking furniture and scuffling feet quickly follow, as well as Sworc's pleas for mercy, "No! I'll get you the money!" "It's to late for that, sewer rat!" More shuffling follows, and then Haruka, Draglin, and Gloom together catch a scent of something that no one wants to smell in a dry, wooden building...Fire. Not wishing to be caught in the blaze, the group quickly files upstairs, out of the frying pan...and into the fire![GM]Roll Initiative!*EDIT* Oh gosh.
