Adventure: The Power of Knowledge (DM: Fragsie, Judge: TwoHeadsBarking)

You manage to find lodgings with little trouble. Shane and Mikara are also able to drop your prisoner off at the city watch with little incident. What will you do, know that it is morning?

OOC: We can drop Mikara and Shane here since we had discussed finding a place to stop using the NPCs. OK?

After breakfast Skalisss leads the party back to the manor.

"Ssshall we asssk around firssst? If the gang of criminalsss hasss been usssing this houssse it sssurely would be noticed".

Andrec takes the opportunity to make a full report on our progress, alert the guard to expected trouble in the neighborhood, in case some of our villains escape, ask said guard to remain not to interfere, for fear of too-many-hands, and check up at the temple caring for the victims. He will ask if there is any more news, and inform the priests that we have a suspect in our search for a cause, and may have the issue resolved shortly.

Skaliss is able to glean some information from the area's residents. The manor belongs to one Professor Scrupworth. If a gang has been using as a hideout, they have been exceptionally cautious about their comings and goings. The only person ever seen around the grounds is the housekeeper, Mrs Senslo.

Andrec discovers that one of the minotaurs and one of the orphans have recovered from their mystical ailment. Their restoration corresponds with the time of Kyvan's death. As for the guards, they are willing to follow Andrec's orders to let the adventurers handle any gang activity in the neighborhood.

[sblock=I have to ask...]Why is posting so slow? I know garyh's out of town at the moment, but still, this seems to be taking forever. I started DMing this game a month ago and pretty much all that's happened is the conclusion of a fight. Am I not giving you enough information? Because I can suggest a couple courses of action if you're stumped. Investigation-style games are not my strength, so don't be reluctant to tell me that there aren't enough clues.[/sblock]

[sblock]Aside from being busier the last couple months than I had previously, I have put this game on low-priority while Garyh's out of town, considering how few players we have currently. If you'd like me to pick it up, I can - but I'm okay going slowly until he gets back.

As to 'enough clues', I don't know where they lead or how they interact, so I have no reason to believe we don't have enough information. I think you're doing just fine. Unfortunately the game lost its momentum, and picking up speed on a game that has slowed as much as this one did tends to be a real challenge. [/sblock]

[SBLOCK=OOC]Appologies, I was out of town the last 4 days without the ability to post like I thought I would have.

Likewise some of the characters have been trying to be cautious, wanting to check things out first. And we have been looking to get consensus from the three remaining players on course of action. But it has been slow, we can surely push it faster if everyone is OK with going along with a 48-hour input guideline.
[/SBLOCK]

"Well, my friendsss," comments Skalisss, "we know they have used transsspotation magic, giving them the abillity to enter the Manor undetected. Ssshall we try the front door and look for this groundsss keeper along the way?"
