Oh, you won, scrawny. Its the dirgesinger—Moraa, apparently—who is wiping off some of the dried blood from her mouth. Your friends pack a punch. She caresses Vok's face a moment with a glimmer in her eye. And you can take a lot of punishment, can't you? The chainwielder—Hesh, or Shaarat, its unclear with goblin honorifics being what they are—laughs good naturedly before dragging the dirgesinger away. While some of the Jorasco healers tend to the minor wounds of the party—humans working for the halflings, no scions here—the other battles continued. The Cyrans of Dannel's Sorrow, still steaming from their confrontation with the hobgoblins earlier, pushed hard against the Salt Town Five, the team that had the patron from the Tower's Shard. Their leader, the attractive woman with the prominent nose, coordinated the attacks with a will. Nothing could touch her due to her metal homunculus protector. One of her teammates, a Cannith magewright, almost disqualified the entire team when she near burnt one of their opponent's alive; a timely response by a scion of the House of Healing was required. The Cyrans won the match, but were not rewarded any points for so doing much to their very vocal consternation. As before, the group is set to wait while the final task is prepared. A glance at the leaderboard made it clear: The Five Winds were in second, right behind the Horn's Apex.
