Adventure: Treasure of Talon Pass?

Here's the website, in case anyone wants to check it out themselves: http://www.freerpgday.com/
Shame. I did notice the quote:
freerpgday.com said:
Retailers in the United States will receive their shipment from Impressions direct, while retailers outside the United States can either order through their favorite hobby game distributor (to be shipped through that distributor's freight forwarder), or purchase from us directly with their own U.S. freight forwarder.
Does this mean there is a chance that a FLGS could recieve stuff from a distributor, even if they haven't already signed up?

Nice avatar by BTW.

Speaking as a retailer involved in free RPG day (and very happy to be getting this adventure - it looks like a "bridge" between KotS and Thunderspire.) Retailers should speak as soon as possible to their distributor. It may still be possible to get involved.

As far as I know, this is the first year that a store could get involved outside the US.

Thanks! I'll check with them and see.

Let me know if you turn anything up. I'm not sure either Heroes or Vagabonds, the two stores here in Auckland, would be interested. They're always way behind on D&D stuff (and the stuff they do have is always about double what it costs to get it from amazon even with the shipping).

I'm in Wellington and (having lived in Auckland for a number of years) I can feel your pain.
I popped into Wargames Supply (WGS) over lunch, and they hadn't heard about Free RPG day. The owner seemed interested though and I suggested he chase it up with their distributor ASAP. I'll pop in again on Monday and see what he has to say, and let you know.

They are participating in D&D Gameday, and have fliers/posters up all over the store at the moment, so if they can still get in on Free RPG day I'm pretty confident they will.
Not that I hold much hope for you that either store in Auckland will be bothered to participate, even if they can...

Sigh ...

Still there's some hope ... if your shop in Wellington can get some copies, maybe I could get one sent up here somehow. :)

And I bet that machpants would love a copy sent to him in Gizzie as well.

I'll see what I can do, if WGS can/does participate (no promises though).
:)

BTW: is there any cost to the retailer? That's something that might stop them participating, if it's excessive...

Sweet as. No promises expected.

Dunno about cost. Maybe shipping? I didn't see anything about it on the website.
