[QUOTE="dimsdale, post: 5956623, member: 79956"] The party moves forward taking the path leading down. It is harder to see now (dim light now) as the glowing moss that was so prevalent in the main corridor is more spars the farther down the path goes. Soon it flattens out and continues forward for another 500 feet until it ends with rubble filling most of the passageway. There is a 3 foot opening at the top of the rubble in which someone can climb to take a closer look at what is behind the rubble. The smell is almost unbearable here, obviously coming from what is behind the rubble. [sblock=first person who takes a peak] You can see a large cave, stretching as far as your eyes can see. The ceiling is heigh, about 30 feet in most places. At one point there is an opening in the ceiling roughly 20 feet from the ground. It looks like a shaft of some sort. Flickering light from the shaft help you to see. The first thing that draws your attention are the mounds scattered about the floor. You can tell that they are humanoid corpses of different sizes and shape. There level of decomposition varies as well. Some are a pile of bones and tattered cloth or bits of leather or metal. Others are still fresh, for lack of a better word. These corpses have strange round, slightly elliptical white rocks on the top of them. You'll have to take a closer look to tell exactly what they are. This is obviously the source of the stench. Farther in the back of the room it is much more difficult to see, but every so often you hear echoing throughout the cave what sounds like the shifting of rock as if it is being moved, but you cannot tell what is causing it. You can tell that it is coming from more than one source.
