Both climb to the top to inspect what is going on and discover that the noise is coming from the open shaft in the ceiling. The more they listen to the sound, Eva quickly recognizes that it is a chant of some type of ritual. Soon the sound of drums can be heard echoing in the cave, follow by an increase in volume and tempo of the chant. As this continues a huge creature appears from the other side of the cave, moving slowly to the center of the cave, just below the opening of the shaft. It then lifts it huge head upward as if it is waiting for something to happen. The creature is not disappointed as at the height of the chanting and thunderous sounds of beating drums, the noise suddenly stops. There is a loud scream, followed by something falling through the shaft. Another scream erupts for the shaft, followed by someone falling from the shaft to the floor. The person rolls a few feet on the rock floor before stopping, dazed and prone. The monstrosity immediately directs his attention to the fallen victim and starts moving slowly towards her.
