Adventures (online) with pre-gen characters?

I need to run a D&D adventure at short notice tomorrow night and due to work stuff, I don't have the (minimal) time I was expecting to prepare!

So, if anyone knows of any free D&D adventures, available online, that also have pre-generated characters and can be run in a session, I'd really appreciate it! (Probably a convention-style game would be ideal...)

I've seen one recently that I wanted to play, but it is for Arcana Unearthed. It looks like a cool introduction to AU.

It has pre-packaged characters and isn't too long and involved.

Sorry, I don't know of any 3/3.5E modules like that, but hopefully you'll find one if AU doesn't suit.

If I didn't want to spring AU on the players (or thought they weren't the type). I would try to find a list of the iconic characters. I'm sure they are listed online somewhere. Then there are plenty of free modules at wizards of the coast. It would be kinda cool to hand out the iconic characters and say pick one, and pass it on...

Then you could just fire up one of the free modules for 3E. A couple of the freely downloaded modules from WoTC are pretty good (there are a few by Monte Cook, and other prominent designers).
