Advice about BBB [OT] - trouble w/movers

Well, the issue is resolved. We finally were able to speak to the owner (we wouldn't stop calling, really, we were calling 4-6 times a day). Once we spoke with the owner and faxed a copy of our quote, they were willing to accept my first offer. I am going to McDonald's for $ .49 cheeseburgers, their tax day special to celebrate.

I don't think I ever want to move again, the whole process is a major pain in the rear.

Did your contract have a not to excede amount?

Most reputable movers include this as part of the contract. Not to be a bummer, but if you don't have this your are pretty much at their whim. (at least based on what I learned when getting quotes for a multi state move)

Glad to hear it - gives me at leasta a measure of hope for our California to Delaware move next month. :)
