Advice to someone new to writing a story hour?

OK, this isn't actually directed at myself(although I might write up a companion storyline from the POV of the BBEGs of the campaign), but Angcuru is gonna start writing up a story hour for our campaign. Any tips you can give him(as well as me)?

apart from that, read other SH's to get a feel for what needs to go in, include the fun in character stuff as well as the background, and just try to get across the fun you had. That's what draws me into SH's, anyway, the more the players and DM enjoyed the session, the more I enjoy reading about it.

Don't get dispirited if nobody comments. For a long time.

Keep an eye on the "number of views" - at least you'll know that people are reading it.
